I have been a board member of companies all over the world from USA to Russia and a key player in a number of mergers and acquisitions. I was Vice President of KPN (Dutch national telephone company) satellite division and was CIO of multi-national company, SpecTec Group.
I am well versed in and have practical experience of accountancy together with the accounting and fiscal requirements of many countries. I also use my direct knowledge of Xero software for in depth reporting and analysis. Having run companies in a number of countries, this also gives me a fundamental knowledge of the differencees and similarities in local HR regulations.
I continue to have a very hands on approach to Business Management, Business Analysis, Programming and Data analysis

Satellite Communication
Created the satellite data communication system, AMOS-Link, that became the defacto standard for ships later superceded by AMOS Mail
CRM/Cloud
Designed and created what was probably the world’s first cloud based CRM system 4 years before the current market leader. The system continues in daily use today.
Tracking and Telemetry
Created one of the world’s first tracking systems for ship position and tracking on nautical charts. Used by commercial shipping and also by Governmental organisations for covert tracking and law enforcement.
International Expansion
Opened up offices in various countries around the world including establishing legal and financial compliance within each country
Entertainment ERP
Created an Entertainment ERP for events, tours, festivals; artist management; A&R integrating with business applications CRM, Project Management and Accounting
e-Commerce
Proposed and led the creation of the e-Commerce data standards used in the Maritime Industry which required its own unique message formats
Music
I am a keen musician and play, compose and produce music in my own recording studio and perform live on stage. My main instruments are piano, organ and keyboards. I play a variety of styles from blues, jazz to avant garde classical and church organ music.
